Aloha mai kakou!
We're excited to present our 6th Hawaiian Holiday Wreath Makeke on December 12! Held annually as a fundraiser for our halau, it is a festive time for us to share the beauty and joy of Christmas! This year, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we will not be having our usual in-person Makeke. Instead, we are taking pre-orders for this year's wreaths and a drive through pick up on our Makeke day.

Each year, we have been blessed by amazing friends, family and visitors who have fallen in love with our wreaths! The generous support we've received have resulted in sell out events of our handmade holiday treasures. The wreaths are made by our students, who apply the teachings of hula protocols of forest etiquette and gathering practices. Once again, a limited number of wreaths will be made.

Two sizes of fresh and dried wreath bases measuring 16" and 18" will be available. The finished wreaths are larger when completed. You can purchase your wreaths in advance through any haumana of the halau, or by clicking on the Add to Cart links below. You can also pre-order wreaths through the Kaua`i Food Hub website at www.kauaifoodhub.org too!
PICK UP FOR WREATHS will be held on DECEMBER 12 from 12noon to 3pm at Studio HA`A in Kapa`a.

Every wreath is unique, and predominantly made with natural materials gathered from Kaua`i's ma uka to ma kai regions, and our gardens! Each wreath will include a tag with the name of the haumana that designed and created the wreath. It will also list the featured materials used. The pictures posted on this page will give you a glimpse of our wreaths from years past!

Your gracious support and aloha is most deeply appreciated once again! Thank you so much for your gracious kokua!
